His son, Wyatt, has been diving since the age of 16 and happily follows his dad anywhere there’s water to explore and something new to learn. Dick’s wife, Julie, is the mastermind behind the logistics, bringing her professional expertise in hospitality and group travel planning to Portsmouth Scuba—while also excelling as an executive with a prominent Seacoast hotel company.

Together, they’re the perfect travel team: one plans the trip, one leads the dive, one’s always packed early—and all of them are happiest somewhere between an airport gate and a dive boat.
